
Maharashtra Board SSC 10th Result 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) declared SSC or class 10 examination result today. The SSC result was announced at 11 am, however, students can access their scorecard post 1 pm. The results will be available at mahresult.nic.in, sscresult.mkcl.org and maharashtraeducation.com.

After a decade-low pass percentage recorded in 2019, there was a huge rise of 18.20 percentage this year. The overall pass percentage of fresh candidates who appeared for the March 2020 examinations was recorded at 95.30 per cent.

The SSC results were usually announced in either May or June, but this time it was delayed, as the evaluation process was affected due to Covid-19 pandemic.

A total of 17,65,898 candidates registered for the Secondary School Certificate examinations this year. Of these, 2,85,642 students are from the Pune division which includes Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Ahmednagar, and Dolour.
CM Uddhav Thackeray has congratulated the successful students. The minister in his tweet, wrote, "Congratulations to all students as you cross an important milestone of SSC exams and embark on the next stage of life’s journey. Even if the results haven’t been up to your expectation, don’t be disheartened as life is full of opportunities. My best wishes are with all of you."
To clear the Maharashtra SSC a student should score at least 35 per cent marks in each subject. Those who have passed the exam will then be issued with an original mark sheet that can be collected by the students from their respective schools

Generally, the Maharashtra SSC results are declared in the month of May-June but with the state tussling hard against the coronavirus pandemic, the evaluation of answer scripts could not be completed in time.

For those students who have cleared the examination but want to appear for Class Improvement Scheme, only two attempts will be available in subsequent exams.
For rechecking of answer sheets, students have to first obtain a copy of it after filing an online application, self-attest the same and upload it on the website within five days of receiving the photocopies, after paying fees for the same. Students wishing to do rechecking of answer sheets can contact their respective divisional boards.
For revaluation of marks, students have to make applications between July 30 to August 8 while for obtaining photocopies of answer sheets, students can apply from July 30 to August 18.
