India received less rainfall in July: IMD

India Meteorological Department Senior Scientist RK Jenamani informed that India received less rainfall in the month of July. RK Jenamani said, “Leaving Uttarakhand, parts of Punjab and Haryana have started receiving rainfall from July 28. And today’s forecast for Haryana, Delhi and Punjab is that rainfall will increase. Ambala will have cloudy sky and light showers might happen in the evening. Moderate to heavy rainfall will be witnessed in Delhi. This forecast will be prevalent for 2-3 days. Monsoon is active in remaining parts of India too. Flood situation is improved in Bihar due to no rainfall.” He further claimed that India witnessed less rainfall in the month of July, Monsoon was not good in the month of July.
