Total number of Covid-19 cases in India is now 15.31 lakh and as per the govt data, 768 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. UP conducted 87,754 Covid-19 tests on July 28, says Amit Mohan Prasad
Speaking at a press conference here, Prasad said, "Yesterday in Uttar Pradesh, 87,754 samples were tested. Out of them, 52,195 samples were tested with Antigen test while the rest were done with RT-PCR and TrueNat tests." He said that 21,20,843 samples have been tested in the state so far.

Hetero launches generic Covid-19 drug at Rs 59 per tablet
Drug firm Hetero on Wednesday said it has launched generic oral antiviral drug Favipiravir used for the treatment of patients with mild to moderate Covid19, in India under the brand name 'Favivir' at Rs 59 per tablet. The company has been granted the manufacturing and marketing approval for Favipiravir from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI), Hetero said in a statement.
