Noida reports 144 new cases, Ghaziabad has 83

Ghaziabad/Noida: Ghaziabad’s Covid tally went up to 4,708 cases with the district reporting 83 fresh cases on Tuesday. As many as 3,859 people have been discharged from various facilities across the district. Officials said 231 patients have been discharged in the past 24 hours. The death toll in the district stands at 64 and there are 785 active cases as of now.
According to health officials, 90,876 tests were conducted in the district till Monday and 50,800 of those were through the rapid antigen test method.
RT-PCR testing will start in a few days, as the machine from Jhanshi has reached the lab being built at MMG District Hospital.
On Tuesday, Gautam Budh Nagar reported 144 new Covid cases. As per reports, 85 patients have been discharged in past 24 hours.
