BSE Odisha Board 10th Result 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha declared the state class 10 results earlier today. Around 5.34 lakh students had appeared for the exams this year. They can now check their results at bseodisha.nic.in, bseodisha.ac.in, orissaresults.nic.in.

The pass percentage saw a jump by almost six per cent this year and was recorded at 78.76. Girls outperformed boys securing 81.98 passing per cent. The pass percentage of boys was recorded at 77.80. A total of 1,279 students secured 90-plus marks this year

How to check Odisha Class 10th Result 2020

Meanwhile, the board are yet to announce a date for the class 12 results declaration. However, it is expected to release next month.

Open school & Madhyama results

In open school certificate examination, 9126 of which 3653 have passed taking the pass percentage at 40.18. In Madhyama exam, 4255 candidates appeared of which 4135 have passed. The pass percentage is registered at 98.18.

Results analysis

A total of 1279 students have secured A1 grade, 8458 have secured A2 grade, 18,188 have secured B1 grade, 31,328 have secured B2 grade, 49,153 have received C grade, 89,556 have received D grade, 2,23,195 and 1,12,575 have secured grades E and F respectively.

District wise results

Among the districts Bargarh recorded the highest passing percent. The passing percentage in this region was recorded at 89.37. Khurda district emerged second with 87.28 passing per cent, followed by Puri with 86.82 per cent.

Zero student pass in 31 schools

As per reports, not a single student passed the class 10 board exam in 31 schools, while 678 schools across the state recorded 100% pass percentage.

Girls outperform boys

The pass percentage of girls was better than that of their male counterpart. The girls recorded a pass percent of 81.98 per cent, while that of the boys was 77.8 per cent

A total of 78.76 per cent students cleared the class 10 exam successfully. The pass percentage was quite high from last year, which was 72.35 per cent

BSE Odisha class 10 result soon

Like CBSE, CISCE and other state boards, the result of BSE Odisha class 10 was also delayed. The results were expected to be declared by April-end but were delay as the evaluation process was put on a halt due to Covid-19-induced nationwide lockdown.

Check assessment scheme of Class 12 cancelled papers

The board has announced a special assessment scheme for the remaining examinations which consists of major papers- economics, statistics, geography and biology. As per the scheme, the students who have appeared in more than three papers, the average of the marks in theory obtained in best three exams will be awarded for the subjects for which exams could not be held. Students who appeared in only three papers, the average of marks in the two best performing papers will be calculated

When to get class 12 result

The evaluation process of class 12 is yet to be completed. The result of class 12 exam will be declared in August, dates of which will be announced later. The pending exams of plus two were earlier cancelled in the state.

Minimum passing marks!

Candidates need to secure at least 33 per cent marks in every subject and a minimum of 20 per cent as aggregate to clear the odisha board exams. In order to secure first division grade, he/she need to score beyond 60 per cent marks overall.

Uttarakhand, Maharashtra Board results today

The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) will declare the result of class 10 and 12 board exams at 11 am today. Around 1.4 lakh students appeared in the class 10 exams and 1.35 lakh students for class 12 board exams this year.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) will declare SSC or class 10 examination will get their result today. The result will be announced at 1 pm, following which it will be available at the websites — mahresult.nic.in, sscresult.mkcl.org and maharashtraeducation.com.

The odisha class 10 result declaration delayed, which was scheduled to be released at 9 am. According to secretary Ramashis Hazra, the result will be announced around 10:30 am. Around 5.34 lakh students appeared in the board exam this year

Toppers to get Rs 5,000 each

Under the Mukhyamantri Medhabruti Puraskar Yojana, the Odisha governmet will award Rs 5,000 each to the top 100 students. The scholarships will be given to around 40,000 students. The scheme was launched last year for the student of Class 10th. A total of 100 students will be selected by the government from each block and municipal corporation, 50 from each municipality and 20 from each NAC to provide the benefit of CM’s Merit Scholarship.

BSE Odisha 10th Result 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: In the previous term, a total of 3,97,125 students had passed recording a pass percentage of 70.78 per cent, a decline of nearly 6 per cent as compared to 2018. A total of 2,05,470 female students had cleared the exams, while 1,91,655 boys had passed.

Candidates need to download the result and take a print out. It will act as a provisional result. The final and official mark sheets will be available from respective schools, once get opened after lockdown.
