A three-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being struck by a car in Sydney.
The young boy was hit by a Holden Captiva on Steward Drive in Oran Park in the city's south-west at about 5.10pm on Wednesday.
Paramedics treated the three-year-old at the scene before he was airlifted to the Children's Hospital at Westmead with head and leg injuries.

The young boy was hit by a Holden Captiva on Steward Drive in Oran Park in south-west Sydney about 5.10pm on Wednesday
The 29-year-old driver was uninjured following and will undergo mandatory testing in hospital.
NSW Ambulance duty operations manager Phil Sweet said accidents involving children is confronting for first-responders.
'In the end, we're all human and a lot of us have children as well - that's why we do our training, so we can operate well as a team, we know what we have to do to help those who need us,' he said in a statement.
'As road users we all need to take care while out and about - your life and the life of others can change in a split second.'
Officers from Camden Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
The cause of the crash remains unknown.
