Brothers attacked over parking in Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH: Police arrested two people for allegedly assaulting two brothers over parking in Mauli Jagran on Monday night. Chander, a resident of Mauli Jagran, alleged Sarabjit Singh and his cousin Madan along with other persons, assaulted and injured him and his brother Nanu Ram at their house.
The complainant alleged that his brother Nanu Ram, an auto-rickshaw driver, parked his auto outside his house on July 26. In the meantime, accused Sarabjit parked his motorcycle behind his auto and blocked his way. Nanu Ram moved the bike to make way for his auto. On this, Sarabjit allegedly started arguing with him.
Later, Sarabjit and Madan reached there with other people and assaulted him with sticks and iron rods. When Chander tried to rescue his brother, the accused also thrashed him. A court remanded the two accused in judicial custody.
