Five Rafale Fighter Jets, who were coming to India from France to join the aircraft fleet of the Indian Air Force, stayed in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday night, after which they flew to India on Wednesday afternoon.


Let me tell you that on Wednesday, Rafale aircraft landed at Ambala airbase in Haryana, where they were welcomed with the water salute. During this time Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria was also present. This is the first consignment of Rafale planes to be received from France. These planes took off from France on Tuesday, after which they stopped in the UAE and reached Ambala on Wednesday afternoon.

For security reasons, people have been banned from climbing the roofs of houses built around the Airforce station. Prohibitory orders have been imposed under Section 144 in Baldev Nagar, Garnala, Barnala, Dhulkot, Panjokhara villages. There is also a ban on photography around Ambala station. Security is tight around the Ambala airbase station as well as the entire Ambala Cantonment area.
