A minor girl was allegedly raped in Khasiamangal area of Tripura on July 21. The heinous incident occurred at the time when victim had gone to meet a male friend, the police said, adding that the time when she was back on her way to home, she was raped in a car by a group of men who offered her a lift. “The victim (a minor) had gone to meet a male friend in Khasiamangal area but on her way back she was allegedly raped in a car by a group of men who offered her a lift home on July 21,” Kiran Kumar K, Superintendent of Police, Khowai, told media persons.
