EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

The Indian equity markets climbed higher on Tuesday, tracking gains from its Asian peers.
The S&P BSE Sensex was trading around 38,275.02 levels, up over 300 points and the Nifty50 index trading above the 11,200-mark.
Individually, Tech Mahindra surged over 6 per cent in the intra-day trade after its June quarter profit before tax rose 32.9 per cent sequentially to Rs 1,283 crore. READ MORE

Meanwhile, YES Bank tanked another 10 per cent in early deals.
The trend among Nifty sectoral indices was green, led by Nifty IT index, up 1.3 per cent.
In the broader market, the S&P BSE MidCap index was at 13,630.60 level, up 0.48 per cent, while the S&P BSE SmallCap index was at 12,888, up 0.38 per cent.
