Pune: Results of Class 10 examination held by the State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (SSC) will be announced on Wednesday (July 29) afternoon at around 1 pm. "The results will be declared online and student or parents can access it through the websites given by the board," informed Dr Ashok Bhosale, secretary of the board.

Every year, SSC results are announced in the first week of June, but this year due to the pandemic the results were delayed as answer paper checking and other works were delayed. The education department had then declared that the results will be published in the last week of July month. In 2019, the total number of students who appeared for the exam were 16,18,602. The percentage of girls clearing the exam was 82.82 per cent and boys were 72.18 per cent.

The state board had held examinations of Class 10 in March month for schools under its Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan divisions. However, just before the exams were supposed to end, a nationwide lockdown was imposed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The examination for Geography subject was postponed, but as the lockdown phases got extended, this exam was cancelled. The board had decided to award marks for this subject on an average basis.

Mark verification, Revaluation and Answer book photocopies

* Once the results have been declared, students can apply for mark verification, photocopies of answer books and revaluation from the next day (July 30) onward.

* Students can visit http://verification.mh-ssc.ac.in to apply for mark verification, revaluation and photocopies of answer books and Transfer Certificate

* Revaluation - Within 5 working days of getting a photocopy of answer book
