Jilted lover stabs maid, jumps from fourth floor terrace in Mumbai

MUMBAI: A man jumped from the fourth floor terrace of a Khar building after stabbing a 19-year-old house maid. Mohammad Faruk did this when she rejected his marriage proposal for the second time.
He called her to the terrace at 12.30pm on Sunday, stabbed her and hit her on the head with a hammer. When she freed herself, he jumped.
He was booked for attempt to murder and will be held after discharge from hospital.
