Man arrested
Police have released an update to the incident, and have fortunately confirmed that it concluded peacefully.
A spokesman said:
Further to our statement regarding an incident in Llangefni this morning, we can confirm that officers have arrested a local man on suspicion of domestic related offences.
Although armed officers were in attendance, the incident was concluded peacefully and there are no further concerns for the general public.
“We would like to thank the local community for their assistance this morning.”

This is the dramatic scene of an ongoing police incident involving armed officers and dog units in Anglesey.
Heavily armed officers swooped onto the incident in Bron y Graig in Llangefni at around 10.30am on Tuesday.
Major police presence
As well as armed officers, there are also dog units and other response officers at the scene.
An ambulance is also there on standby.
Expecting statement
We are expecting a statement from police soon on the nature of the incident.
At the moment, it is still ongoing and officers are still trying to bring it to a conclusion.
Correction of location
It was initially reported to us that the incident was taking place in the Station Hill area.
It seems that the police were in that area, but they are now in the Bron y Graig area of Llangefni where the incident is unfolding.
'Please stay away'
Police have urged people to keep away from the incident.
They said:
We are currently dealing with an ongoing incident in Llangefni. Please stay away from the immediate vicinity. There are no concerns for the wider community.”
Around six officers at scene
An eyewitness said she saw at least six officers with full armour on with their guns drawn on the street.
They said it was clearly “something serious”.
