While from the outside the building may still appear to be accepting a congregation on Sundays - on the inside the owners have converted the building into a light-filled, comfortable, and modern home.
The building sits at the heart of Mannum - an historic village on the scenic Murray River, east of Adelaide, with a population of about 3,000 residents.

They have now decided to put their months of effort on the market with photographs of the stunning transformation being revealed online.
Selling agent Michael Nance of Statewide Property Network said it was the first project of its kind he had sold in three decades in the business, saying the owners had done a great job blending the historic and modern aspects.
'The current owners bought it with the intention of renovating it into a residence. You probably wouldn't guess (from outside) that someone actually lives there,' he told realestate.com.au.
He said the stone structure was still used as a church up until 2018.
Pictures of the inside of the building before the renovation show peeling paint, rows of brown church pews, and thick red carpet.
