Priya, Rinku joint toppers in MP Board class 12 exams

BHOPAL: Madhya Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) declared class 12 results on Monday. This year the result fell sharply comparing 2019. This year 68.81% students were declared pass while last year 72.37% students had cleared the exam. Priya Lal and Rinku Bathra from Mandsaur district have become joint toppers with 99% marks each. Both students are from maths group.
This year 19 students secured first position in humanities, 37 in maths, 19 in bio science and 34 in commerce discipline. In all, 28.70 % non-regular students were declared pass.
For the first time in the history of MPBSE only 276 cases of using unfair means were registered in the exam. This is the ever lowest. Total, 4.54 lakh students cleared the class 12 exam this year.
