
MP Board MPBSE 12th Result 2020 LIVE Updates: Over 7.84 lakh students who had appeared in the Madhya Pradesh Board, MPBSE class 12 exam this year can check their result now. This year, the pass percentage has dipped significantly from the last year recorded at 68.81 per cent. Last year, the pass percentage was 72.37 per cent. The girls have outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 73.40 per cent, while the pass percentage of boys is 64.66 per cent. Priya and Rinku Bathra from non-medical stream jointly topped with 495 marks.
The government schools have performed better with 71.43 per cent pass percentage followed by Aadivasi schools with a pass percentage of 69.39 per cent and public schools at 64.93 per cent.
The students can check the results through the websites- mpbse.nic.in, mpresults.nic.in, mpbse.mponline.gov.in, and through app- MPBSE, MP Mobile, Fast Result.
The exams were initially scheduled to be held in March, but was postponed midway due to the COVID-19 induced lockdown. The pending exams were conducted on major papers of biology, higher mathematics, chemistry, economics, geography, accountancy in June.

The govt schools — despite registering a dip of 2.95 per cent in pass percentage as compared to last year — are still the best-performing schools. As many as 71.43 per cent students passed from government schools followed by Aadivasi schools with a pass percentage of 69.39 per cent and public schools at 64.93 per cent.
Despite the dip in pass percentage, the number of students obtaining first division or over 60 per cent marks has gone up as 2,85,754 students got first division as against 2.63 lakh last year. Further, more than 1.82 lakh have got second division up from 1.75 lakh last year.
Harda district was the best performer with 81.97 per cent students from the area clearing the exam in regular mode followed closely by Neemuch with a pass percentage of 81.68 per cent in regular mode. However, Neemuch has registered a pass percentage of 31.01 per cent in private mode and Harda has a pass percentage of 30.50 per cent in private mode.

In non-medical Priya and Rinku Bathra jointly topped with 495 marks, in commerce Mufaddal Arvivala topped with 487 marks and in agriculture group Gauraj Ojha topped with 483 marks. In arts Shambhu Mishra topped with 444 marks and in Biology Anushka Gupta topped with 490 marks.
A total of 73.40 per cent girls cleared the exam successfully, while the pass percentage of boys is 64.66 per cent
Over 2.85 lakh students have first division while is 21884 higher than previous years. Similarly, 182565 candidates secured second division which is again 7198 higher as against 2019. Since the pass percentage has gone up, there are only 21,096 students in the third division which is 1005 less than previous year.

The candidates with 60 per cent marks will be awarded first division, for second division students need 45 per cent and above marks. In the third division, students with minimum 33 per cent marks and above are considered

The Rajasthan Board Secondary Education (RBSE) will declare the state class 10 results at 4 pm on July 28. State education minister Govind Singh Dotasra confirmed this development on Twitter.

To be deemed passed, candidates need to score at least 33 per cent marks aggregate and in each subject in MPBSE class 12 exams. Pass percentage refers to the percentage of students passing the exam against those who appeared for it
