
Hosted by Rohit Shetty, Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 aired its finale on Sunday on Colors. Karishma Tanna beat Karan Patel and Dharmesh Yelande to lift the trophy of the adventure reality show. She also took home a car and Rs 20 lakh as cash prize.
The tenth season of the reality show was filmed in Bulgaria in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the finale was shot just a few days ago in Mumbai. Rohit Shetty shared a photo from the finale shoot on Instagram. He shared it with the caption, “They say, ‘Time stops for no one’ … but somehow, this year has ended up halting the things we had planned. Shot the season finale of Khatron ke khiladi, season 10 in Mumbai today, exactly a year after shooting the first episode in Bulgaria. I guess, in times like these, we should trust our destiny… for it’s plan could be better than ours! Feels strange, but as they also say ‘This too, shall pass’!!!”
This year, Khatron Ke Khiladi started with ten contestants. Apart from the finalists, the other contestants were Shivin Narang, Tejasswi Prakash, Adaa Khan, Amruta Khanvilkar, RJ Malishka and Rani Chatterjee. Tejasswi had to quit the show mid-way due to an eye injury.
The filming of the finale saw the presence of many other contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. Many of them took to their social media handles to share photos.
Rohit Shetty shares that he always wanted a girl to win and Karishma Tanna managed to fulfil his wish. Tanna is in tears hearing the kind words of the host. He also gives a sneak peek of Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made in India, which will be introduced by Farah Khan.

It's a tough fight between Karishma Tanna and Karan Patel. The time difference between them is just eight seconds. Rohit Shetty will soon announce the winner of season 10.
Dharmesh Yelande thanks Rohit Shetty and Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 for the experience. He says that he tells all his celebrity friends to do the show once as it's a life-changing experience.
Rohit Shetty calls the three finalists on stage. He shares that the one who took the maximum time will be evicted now. After a moment of suspense, he names Dharmesh. Shetty calls his ouster as sheer bad luck and says that he was one of the most deserving contestants.
All three finalists performed the task exceptionally well and host Rohit Shetty shares that the result would be announced in India. He shares that the winner would be given the winner's trophy and a new car.
Finally, it's Karishma Tanna's turn. Since a female contestant hasn't won the show for a long time, the actor says she wants to break the jinx. She is super quick and completes the task with utmost confidence. Post the task, Tanna shares that she is happy with her performance and says she never knew she was so strong mentally.
Choreographer Dharmesh takes up the challenge next. He crosses each level with ease but almost loses his balance in the last stage. He finally manages to complete the task with a perfect aim. Calling it a dynamic stunt, Dharmesh says he has never experienced anything like this in his life.
Karan Patel attempts the task first and manages to complete it with ease. His co-contestants and host seem quite proud of his performance. The Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor shares that he did his best and he will remember the experience throughout his life.
Rohit Shetty explains the final task, which he calls a blockbuster one, comprising of different levels. Contestants would be buckled up in a car and dropped in the water. After unlocking themselves, they have to take out a flag from the car's dicky and swim to a jetski nearby. They would then need to climb up on another car which is held by a helicopter. In the last stage, they have to throw a stick to create a blast on the platform.
The finale task is set to begin. Welcoming his finalists, host Rohit Shetty asks them who they credit for their success in the show. While Karishma names her mother, Dharmesh says the other contestants who performed badly. Karan thanks Balraj for losing the last task.
The girls are on stage next, and both Jasmin Bhasin and Tejasswi Prakash fail to impress with their rap. Haarsh Limbachiyaa takes the stage to entertain the audience.
The Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 and Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made in India contestants indulge in a mike drop session. The first round between Karan Patel and Rithvik Dhanjani is won by the latter. Dharmesh and Karan Wahi are up next, and they are seen cracking jokes on each other.
Balraj bids a teary farewell to his teammates. Rohit Shetty congratulates him for his journey. He also announces Karan, Karishma and Dharmesh as the top three of Khatron Ke Khiladi 10.
Rohit Shetty lauds both Karan and Balraj for completing the task. Saying it was a tough competition, he announces Karan Patel as the winner of the task. He beat Balraj by just six seconds. Shetty also makes Patel promise that he would decrease his cigarette consumption.
As a scared Balraj goes for the task, host Rohit Shetty tells him to fight his fears and not abort the task. The comedian also has a tough time being in the water. He struggles to complete the task and is left gasping for breath towards the end. After coming out of the box, he also swims to the other direction leading him to waste time.
Karan Patel attempts the task first and has a hard time being underwater. Breathless towards the end, he gets cheered on by his co-contestants and finally manages to complete the task.
The finale round that was shot in Bulgaria is now being shown. After Karishma Tanna and Dharmesh, one among Karan Patel and Balraj will be chosen for the final task. In the challenge, the contestants would be locked in an underwater room, and they have to cut the netted door to come out. The one who finishes in the least time will become the third finalist. Both Karan and Balraj are claustrophobic and look quite worried.
Host Rohit Shetty reveals that he has produced a Marathi film which stars Tejasswi Prakash in the lead role. He informs that the shoot of the slice-of-life movie is almost complete and should release soon.
Rohit Shetty interacts with his favourite student Karishma Tanna and gives her a fun task. It has her standing on a platform while a huge ball is thrown her way. The task requires her not to react. As the actor failed, she was subjected to electric shock as punishment. Shetty gives her a box of wafers as a gift for being a sincere student.
