Kargil Vijay Diwas: Sacrifice of soldiers always serve as source of inspiration, says Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh saluted the valour and grit of the Indian soldiers on the occasion of 21st anniversary of the 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' at National War Memorial. He wished the countrymen on 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' and said that sacrifice of soldiers will always serve as a source of inspiration for everyone.

Permission to Patanjali coronavirus medicine will be given after seeing report: AYUSH

On Patanjali's coronavirus medicine row, Union Minister of State for AYUSH, Shripad Naik said that permission will be given to them after seeing the report. Naik said, "It's a good thing that Baba Ramdev has given a new medicine to the country but as per rule, it has to come to AYUSH Ministry first. They even said that they have sent a report. We'll look into it and permission will be given after seeing the report."

On the occasion of sixth International Yoga Day, several union ministers performed yoga on June 21. Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi performed yoga in Delhi. Union Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan performed yoga with his family in Delhi. Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel also performed yoga at Delhi's Purana Qila. Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar also performed yoga in Delhi. Minister of State (MoS) for AYUSH Shripad Naik performed yoga in Goa's Panaji. Meanwhile, Member of Parliament of Lok Sabha, Pragya Singh performed yoga in MP's Bhopal.

'Attack was pre-planned by China, Indian forces will give befitting reply': MoS Defence

The violent faceoff at Ladakh's Galwan valley in which 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives was "pre-planned by China" and Indian forces will give a "befitting reply", said Minister of State (MoS) for Defence Shripad Naik on June 17. He said, "It's a matter of national security, there'll be no compromise. I pay tribute to all jawans who lost lives. Nation is proud of them that they made the supreme sacrifice. It won't go in vain. It was pre-planned by China, Indian forces will give befitting reply."

Pakistan women refugees in Delhi make rakhis to earn livelihood

An NGO extended support to women refugees from Pakistan living in Majnu-ka-Tila, so that they can earn their livelihoods by making rakhis. One of them, Rani said, "We're making rakhis for our brothers who're fighting for us at borders. We want to thank them, our blessings are with them." Rakshabandhan will fall on August 03 this year.

Anti-Pakistan protest in London demands justice for Baloch community

A massive protest was organised by Bramsh Solidarity Committee on July 19 against the killings of baloch women in Balochistan at the hands of death squads and Pakistani paramilitary forces in Balochistan province of Pakistan. The protesters raised slogans against the ever increasing human rights violation in Balochistan and against the Harnai incident where Pakistan Army killed the family of Qaisar Chalgarri including his 9-year-old daughter Naz Bibi. A large number of political activists, intellectuals, women and children in Balochistan province are victims of enforced disappearances by the security agencies. A large number of Baloch, who have taken asylum in Europe and other parts of the world, continue to hold protests to raise the support of international community and pressurise Pakistan and its security agencies to stop human rights violations in Balochistan. Leader of Balochistan Raji Zrumbesh, Abdullah Baloch said, "Pakistan unleashed its death squads to create havoc and terror in Balochistan. They want to frighten the whole Baloch community by killing innocent Baloch women and attacking houses so people feel insecure."
