Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite & Tata Blackbird: Ten upcoming compact SUVs to watch out for
Compact SUVs have been taking the Indian market by storm and it is also starting to put a dent in small luxury car sales. A number of auto manufacturers have launched some really good SUVs but if you’re in the market for your next car, it might be worth waiting just a bit more.
Tata HBX | Based on the ALFA platform, the HBX is more of a micro SUV. The platform is also used in the Tata Altroz and you may get to see similarities because of the IMPACT 2.0 design language.

Nissan Magnite | The Nissan Magnite concept was unveiled just recently in concept form and if the renders are anything to go by, the little B-SUV could be a good seller. Not to mention an aggressive price tag that we are also expecting.

Renault Kiger | Renault is also working on a compact SUV codenamed HBC but expectations for the name Kiger are high. It is based on a locally developed CMF-A+ platform and will be powered by a 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine

Jeep 526 | American automaker Jeep has confirmed that this new model will go on sale in India first and will be based on the Fiat Panda’s 4X4 platform. It is expected to be powered by a pretty decent 1.5-litre diesel and 1.3-litre petrol engine.

Toyota Brezza | Under the vehicle sharing scheme between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, the next car that Toyota will be rebadging will be the Vitara Brezza. The new Toyota Brezza however is expected to be styled just a bit differently along with the addition of more premium parts and tech.

Skoda Vision IN | Skoda’s first car based on the MQB AO IN platform will be the Vision IN SUV. Also expected in the first half of 2021, the Vision IN will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and the Nissan Kicks.
