Two air ambulances have been dispatched to a coastal emergency in Gwynedd.
The helicopter crews from Caernarfon and Welshpool have been scrambled to an emergency in the Aberdyfi area this afternoon.
A search and rescue helicopter and lifeboat crew have also been spotted at the scene.
The nature of the incident has not yet been disclosed.

Coastguard statement
The coastguard has provided an update on the situation.
A spokesman said:
HM Coastguard received multiple 999 calls at around 2.15pm today (26 July) reporting several people in difficulty in the water at Aberdovey, Gwynedd.
Aberdovey and Borth coastguard rescue teams, Aberdovey RNLI lifeboat, the coastguard helicopter from Caernarfon, Welsh Ambulance Service and two air ambulances were all sent.
Three people have been taken to hospital by the coastguard helicopter, one by an air ambulance and two by road ambulance.
Two other people were checked over by paramedics on scene and did not need onward transfer to hospital.
We have no further information at this time.”
Air ambulance leave scene
Both air ambulances have left the scene.
One flew back to base in Caernarfon, while the other flew to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
Reports of people being resuscitated
The BBC has reported that eight people were being caught in a rip current off the coast.
They were all found in the water and were “being resuscitated”, they said.
This has not been confirmed to us at this stage.
RNLI crew in attendance
A crew from the RNLI based in Aberdyfi have also been dispatched to the scene.
Air ambulances at scene
Both of the North Wales-based air ambulances have flown to the scene.
The air ambulance from Welshpool arrived at around 3pm before the chopper from Caernarfon arrived around 20 minutes later.

The emergency services are dealing with an ongoing incident in Aberdyfi, Gwynedd.
Two air ambulances, the search and rescue helicopter, and the RNLI have been spotted at the scene.
