The flood situation in Bihar and Assam remains very serious, about 37 lakh population has been affected by this flood.

27 lakh people have been affected by floods in 33 districts of Assam, 3 more people have died due to floods in Assam. So far 122 people have died in the state.

In Bihar, 10 lakh people have been affected by this flood so far, according to the State Disaster Management Department, 9.60 people have been affected in 529 panchayats of 74 blocks in 10 districts.

The same meteorological department has predicted heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar between July 27 and July 29.
