Manchester United are back in the Champions League as they finished third in the Premier League behind champions Liverpool and neighbour Manchester City. It was a scrappy win but they got what they were looking for from the final day at King Power Stadium. Fernandes put United in front from the spot in the 71st minute, before Ligard round off with a strike in the 98th minute. Leicester dropped down to 5th in the standings, after Chelsea defeated Wolves 2-0 to finish 4th.
