Emirates Group, Dubai Tourism, Accenture and Microsoft are joining hands for speeding up innovation in travel, tourism and aviation in Dubai by launching Intelak Hub.
The new brand combines three existing programs – the Futurism Accelerator, Intelak Incubator and the Idea Lab.
Intelak Hub will support early and late stage start-ups with education, mentorship, tools and resources for coming up with solutions for the travel industry via three programs.
The Intelak Hub comprises three programs for entrepreneurs. The Intelak Accelerator is an eight-week program for late-stage startups that wish to expand in Dubai or carry out a proof of concept in the city.
The program is looking for startups that have solutions for dealing with one of five challenge areas: shopping experience, contactless touchpoints, artificial intelligence/personalization, gamification and inclusivity.
The Intelak Incubator is an eight-week program for early stage startups with a minimum viable product with a strategic fit in Dubai and they want to move their business through launch stage. Besides guidance from partners and viability assessments, participants would get 50,000 AED in equity-free funding.
Lastly, the Intelak Idea Lab is a three-week program for citizens of the United Arab Emirates who have startup idea in aviation, travel or tourism.
