The political turmoil in Rajasthan is not taking the name of the ending yet. Congress MLAs, led by Ashok Gehlot, took the Raj Bhavan on Friday to demand an assembly session.

During this time, Governor Kalraj Mishra argued that he needed some time to reach a decision. Meanwhile, late Friday night, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot held a cabinet meeting to discuss serious legal options and political weapons.

The cabinet meeting of the Rajasthan government started at around 10:30 pm at the CM residence and lasted till 12:30 pm. This meeting had the same agenda on how to save the Gehlot government.

Now the challenge before Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is to keep his supporting MLAs united. CM Gehlot has also started to fear that it may not happen that some more MLAs may get out of hand due to delays in the floor test. That is why he is insisting on getting the floor test done in the assembly at the earliest.
