CHANDIGARH: Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee president Kumari Selja on Saturday asked the state government to extend the validity of HTET and conduct fresh recruitment of JBT in the state.
Selja’s statement came in response to the government’s decision of closure of doors for 80000 HTET qualifiers of the state. "This was yet another anti youth and anti unemployed move by the Haryana government. They should not have taken such initiative, especially when they have not carried out any recruitment in past six years, ‘’ said Selja,
Now, Haryana already occupies the top slot in the country in terms of unemployment, this move of blocking way of 80000 aspiring teachers will add to th tally. Now, these persons will have to appear again, she added
She said that on the one hand there was a huge shortage of teachers in the schools of the state, whereas the government has blocked the recruitment of teaching staff in the schools and colleges.
"Recently, it had been recommended to cancel the recruitment of Junior System Engineer in Bijli Vitran Nigam. This way thousands of government job recruitment were being abolished and halted,’’ she added.
Selja also came down heavily over the issue of registries scam across the stat.e She said that the new revelations that have been exposed in this scam were very shocking. The BJP leaders themselves were saying that the officers in the tehsil said that no one can do any harm to them, because they send money directly to a big leader in the Haryana government.
