Nitish Kumar established a standard of governance in Bihar: RCP Singh

JD(U) leader RCP Singh addresses party's 'virtual sammelan' on Saturday.
PATNA: JD(U) national general secretary RCP Singh on Saturday said that the party president Nitish Kumar was the first CM who established a standard of governance in Bihar.
Addressing his party’s assembly constituency-wise 'virtual sammelan' of Bachhwara, Teghara (both in Begusarai district), Warisnagar and Morwa(Samastipur) from the state capital, Singh said soon after coming to power in November 2005, Nitish Kumar began to make a concentrated attack on three 'C' – crime, corruption and communalism. He continued to make seamless attacks on the elements involved in the three 'C' in all his three tenures.
"Before November 2005, criminals used to openly roam on the roads. They used to move on the roads while brandishing the barrels of their rifle through their vehicle’s windows. Corruption had become a normal practice. In those days, it was a common practice to create tension among the people of two communities in the name of religion and caste. But, Nitish put a brake on the three 'C' and implemented the policy of development with justice for the overall growth of all sections of the society," Singh told the party workers.
The JD(U)leader further pointed out that the party would be going to the coming assembly polls with great pride under the leadership of Nitish Kumar for a record fourth consecutive term. “It is an extraordinary achievement for the party. All this became possible because of the far-sighted leadership of Nitish Kumar,” he said.
"There is no doubt that people of Bihar will give him (Nitish) one more chance to rule the state. But we want to ensure from our workers that victory margin in the coming election should be more than the previous elections," Singh added.
The state’s information and public relations minister Neeraj Kumar, Transport Minister Santosh Kumar Nirala, JD(U) Jehanabad MP Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi, Yuva JD(U) state president and MLA Abhay Kushwaha, party spokesperson Ms Anjum Ara and its media cell president Amardeep also addressed the 'virtual sammelan'.
