Antar Agni

The past few months have been a reminder of our habit of excessiveness, not only in fashion, but in life. Small amends and extra care can create a ripple effect of change and sustainable living. With this very intention, label Antar Agni has launched ‘Restore Love’, a repairing service where your worn garments can be given a second life. Creative director Ujjawal Dubey drew inspiration from his own old pieces. “I have a jacket that has lasted me a greater part of a decade. I’ve overdyed it, sewn-in buttonholes, and reconstructed sections. Every week I wear it, it takes on greater meaning and ensures a little less consumption.” Bring your pre-loved Antar Agni pieces back to the studio, where the imperfections will be given a new lease.

Shehla Khan

If you ask any new-age bride to describe her dream wedding lehenga, it would include terms such as modern, lightweight and yet, fantastical. And designer Shehla Khan’s latest demi-couture collection would check all the boxes. Titled ‘Nostalgia’, the line-up combines old-world glamour with modern trends like billowing skirts with high slits, tulle blouses and gowns, and wispy lace-trimmed pieces in a palette of blush pinks, nude and sultry blacks. The contemporary celebrity-favourite label has been worn by Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Kiara Advani, Janhvi Kapoor and many more.

Karan Torani

Launched in 2018, Karan Torani's label has become a name to look out for. For his new collection titled ‘Shuddhi’, the designer was inspired by the seven holy rivers of India, famously known as the Saptha Sindhu. Moving away from his signature prints, Torani has worked with sheer fabrics that are perfect for summer weddings. Free-flowing saris with sexy blouses, statement lehengas and kurtas dominate the line.

Manish Malhotra 

Manish Malhotra has long been synonymous with designs that blend high-octane glamour and opulence. Recently, the designer has launched his latest collection titled ‘The Luminous World - Tabān’ on his official Instagram page. Featuring high-shine lehengas and saris, the collection is a celebration of glamour in pastel tones of  peach, blue, silver and white.

Gemfields x Zoe & Morgan

Rubies are said to be the vibrant birthstone for the month of July, being a universal symbol of nobility, purity, and passion. To mark the season, Gemfields and environmentally-conscious jewellery label Zoe & Morgan collaborated on a new collection of contemporary pieces crafted with Mozambican rubies. Gemfields, known for its responsibly sourced coloured gemstones around the world, lends the crimson stones to the brand’s modern geometric designs. The result is a range of sleek necklaces and rings, which uses the rubies in diamond-inspired and is at the heart of each design.

VegNonVeg

Adidas and Kanye West’s collaboration is now a household name and each drop more covetable than the last for hypebeasts. While West is currently making pop culture headlines for many reasons, sneakerheads are geared up for Yeezy’s newest launch. The Yeezy Boost 380 Blue Oat comes with the signature snug sock-like construction, featuring a multi-toned re-engineered Primeknit with a reflective version. Multi-brown accents and a blue perforated panel decorate the sides. The style will be available online on sneaker store VegNonVeg from July 25.

Falguni Shane Peacock

Couture design label Falguni Shane Peacock—one that Bollywood swears by—just unveiled the launch of their Pret collection titled The Tuscan Tour. Inspired by the spirit of an Italian summer, the ready-to-wear line features short dresses, maxis, tunics, bomber jackets and shrugs that come with asymmetrical cuts and bohemian elements. Staying true to their more-is more aesthetic, the ensembles showcase a wide range of prints including florals, animal prints, boxes, stripes and chevron.
