Wipro buys Belgian firm 4C for Rs 588 crore

BENGALURU: Wipro will buy 4C, one of the largest Salesforce partners in UK, Europe and the Middle East, for 68 million euros (Rs 588 core) in cash to deepen its presence as a Salesforce solutions provider in the continent.
Belgium-based 4C has capabilities across multiple Salesforce clouds including sales, marketing, field services and specializes in transforming Quote-to-Cash processes with Salesforce’s Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Billing solutions in over 1,500 projects and 500 customers.
Wipro has a well-established Salesforce business in the Americas, Japan and Australia which was reinforced with the Appirio acquisition in 2016.
“This combination along with Wipro’s reach across the region and industry, will help us become a dominant player in Europe and a leader in Salesforce’s Quote to Cash domain,” said Harish Dwarkanhalli, Wipro president of cloud enterprise platforms (CEP).
4C has over 350 employees in London, Paris, Brussels and Copenhagen with revenue of 32 million euros as of January this year. Wipro said 4C will be consolidated as part of its Salesforce practice, which provides solutions globally around multiple Salesforce clouds.
