J&K: Earthquake of magnitude 3.0 hits Katra

No loss of life or damage to property was reported.

An earthquake of magnitude 3.0 on the richer scale hit Katra region of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

The tremors were felt in Katra at 5:11 AM today.

The epicentre of the earthquake was at 89 km East of Katra. 

No loss of life or damage to property was reported.

On July 17, an earthquake of magnitude 3.9 occurred at 88 km east of Katra, in Jammu and Kasmir. This is the second earthquake to hit Katra in less than a week's period.
