NEW DELHI: Bank shares were trading lower in Friday's session.
Shares of Axis Bank (down 3.06 per cent) , State Bank of India (down 2.93 per cent) , Bandhan Bank (down 2.43 per cent) , Punjab National Bank (down 2.33 per cent) , ICICI Bank (down 2.23 per cent) , Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 2.09 per cent) , HDFC Bank (down 1.87 per cent) and Bank of Baroda (down 1.52 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Bank index was trading 1.94 per cent down at 22636.25 around 02:02PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 53.85 points at 11161.6, while the BSE Sensex was down 130.1 points at 38010.37.
