Sanjana Sanghi is all set to make her debut with 'Dil Bechara', which is releasing today evening at 7.30 pm. Not many would know this, but the actor had started her career with 'Rockstar' and featured in two other movies soon after, before working in 'Dil Bechara'.

Sanjana was 13-year-old when she made her debut in Bollywood with Ranbir Kapoor-starring film 'Rockstar'. 'Dil Bechara' director Mukesh Chhabra, who was a renowned casting director back then, had approached her for the Imtiaz Ali film. Sanjana played Nargis Fakhri (Heer)'s sister Mandy in the movie.

She also featured in Irrfan Khan-Saba Qamar's 'Hindi Medium', as the younger version of Qamar. The actor was seen in the song 'Hoor', which shows the evolution of the couple in the movie.

Before 'Dil Bechara', Sanjana Sanghi was seen in 'Fukrey Returns'. She played the role of Katty, and had a scene with Pulkit Samrat and 'Choocha' Varun Sharma. The actor was seen on a date with Choocha in the film, produced by Farhan Akhtar.

Sanjana now makes her debut as a lead actor with 'Dil Bechara'. She features opposite late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie which is an adaptation of 'The Fault In Our Stars'. The film also marks Mukesh Chhabra's debut as a director.
