The SGPDA wholesale fish market in Margao which was closed for 8 days was reopened on Friday. However, the social distancing norms were thrown to the winds. Some fish vendors sold fish directly and outside the market. All Goa Wholesale Fish Seller Association’s general secretary promised to ensure social distancing and other safety norms would be strictly followed from saturday.

Coronavirus cases in Goa are rapidly inrceasing day by day. Along with cases death toll is also rising. The wholesale fish market was closed as people were not following social distancing. It was reopened after span of week. However, the same trend is repeated once again. No one was seen following social distancing.
