Why Tata feels young; his successful startup tips

NEW DELHI: Ever since Ratan Tata made it to the 'Gram last year in October-end, he has been keeping his fan updated about his recent activities.

On Thursday, the veteran industrialist spoke to around 33,000 young entrepreneurs in a webinar, and shared his insights on doing business.

Alongside two pictures of himself, the Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group took to Instagram to admire the country's 'spirited and enthusiastic' youth. Moreover, he stressed that their energy makes him feel young again. "I have always enjoyed the company of the spirited and enthusiastic youth of the country. Their energy is truly infectious, and they make me feel like I haven’t aged at all," his post read.

The 82-year-old businessman said that talking to the 33,000 young minds in a webinar was one of the most energising conversations he had in a while.


In a two-part Instagram Story in the form of video, the billionaire philanthropist shared valuable lessons that future entrepreneurs can incorporate in their professional life. He stressed that an individual need to know the purpose behind starting their business and how they make profits. "Unfortunately, I have a view that we are not in that business just to make a profit," he added.

Concluding his post, the Tata Trusts Chairman further wished them success so that they can contribute in making India one of the global economic powerhouses.

In his previous posts, Tata called for stopping online hatred and bullying and instead supporting each other in what has been a "year full of challenges" for everyone.
