The Infinity School Consolidates Early Childhood Education By Appointing The New Headmistress- Early Years

21 July 2020: The Infinity School, Greater Noida West.
The Infinity School in Greater Noida West stood committed to delivering quality education even in these pressing times with new recruitments to support their vision of nurturing academic excellence.
The new-generation K12 school in Noida Extension got Ms. Punita Josan, onboard as the Headmistress- Early Years. The school’s focus and belief that the early years are very crucial to a child’s learning and development are indubitably shared by Ms. Josan.
The new headmistress joined The Infinity School in Greater Noida West, with extensive experience of twelve years in early childhood education. An alumnus of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad & CMTC, Chennai (Centre for Montessori Training), Ms. Josan started her academic journey as a pre-school teacher in Amiown pre-school, Noida. Thereafter, she joined Genesis Global School, Noida, as early years co-teacher & later worked as the Kindergarten homeroom teacher. She took on various leadership roles at Genesis Global School, working as the Associate IB PYP coordinator and grade-level Coordinator there. While being a part of CIS (Council of International School Accreditation Process), she was actively involved in the study of Domain C (Curriculum) & Domain D (Teaching & Assessing for Learning). Moreover, she mentored several PYP exhibitions, co-facilitated PD sessions for teachers & parenting workshops in the last few years.
Having found her true passion in early year’s education, Ms. Josan believes that each child is unique and is born curious. To keep the flame of curiosity burning, one must provide a stimulating environment that plays a key role in enhancing the physical, intellectual, literary, emotional, and social growth of children. She ardently favours free play & storytelling, considering them as key pillars in strengthening the belief, value system & skillsets in the early childhood years.
Researches on early childhood reveal that genetics is not the only influential factor in child development. The first few years of childhood are a critical period of brain development, stimulation, responsiveness & adaptability. That being said, The Infinity School in Noida Extension offers several personalised interventions and emotional scaffolding in the early years to support long-term holistic child development and socio-emotional well-being. These factors are quite important for academic success, personal & professional growth of kids in the future. The school invests a great time in capacity building, with a thinking curriculum, smaller class size (12 students in an online class at the maximum), teacher development programme, differentiated learning, and structured feedback.
Ms. Punita Josan’s joining at The Infinity School will be instrumental in shaping the early years of children provided her expanse of experience.
