ASUS ROG Phone 3 Is Here With Snapdragon 865+, 5G, 144hz Screen And Massive 6000mah Battery

Asus has finally launched the 3rd generation of its ROG gaming smartphone series. The ROG 3 comes with many updates including latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC processor, updated OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, triple cameras, GameCool 3 heat dissipating system, redesigned copper 3D vapor chamber and many more which we discuss later.
The new ROG Phone 3 has been priced at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB and 128 GB Storage variant and Rs 57,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB version. The gaming smartphone will be up for sale via Flipkart from August 6.

ROG Phone 3 Specifications

ROG Phone 3 sports 6.59-inch (2340x1080) Full HD+ AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support. The display panel is protected by 2.5D Gorilla 6 Glass. To save eyesight of gamers, Asus also provides TUV Low Blue Light feature and Flicker Reduction technology.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 also brings the latest flagship processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset in India.  It also gets Adreno 650 GPU and coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM.

Being a Gaming Phone, the camera department is not ignored and this time the Asus ROG Phone 3 is equipped with triple rear camera setup at the back. It sports 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with 125-degree FOV and a 5MP macro lens. For selfies, it is equipped with 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Rear camera is capable to capture 8K videos while front shooter can record the videos at Full HD resolution.

As far as sound is concerned, Asus ROG Phone 3 supports Dirac-tuned ROG GameFX audio system with 7 magnet stereo Hi-Fi sound-system and Quad-microphone for noise cancellation. Additionally, the smartphone also have an ultrasonic sensor for Air Trigger 3 and grip press features for gamers.

Asus ROG phone 3 sports dual-SIM (Nano) and runs on Android 10 with ROG UI out of the box. It gets its juice from humongous 6000mAh battery, at least a foremost demand of gamers. It supports 30W fast charging from bundled charger and battery can also reverse charge at 10W. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G Volte, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 48-pin side port. By following the trend Asus removes the 3.5mm jack but provides Type-C to 3.5 mm Jack converter within the box.

The Asus ROG Phone 3 has been priced at Rs 49,999 for the base 8GB+128 GB Variant while 12GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 57,999. The users will get the new Aero case in the box itself and customers who will opt for top-end variant will get the  AeroActive Cooler 3 accessory as well. The gaming smartphone will be up for sale via Flipkart from August 6.
