Noida: Man ‘rapes’ his former tenant for years, arrested

GREATER NOIDA: A man from a Bisrakh-based village was arrested on Monday night for allegedly raping his former tenant for the past few years, impregnating her and forcing her to undergo an abortion. On July 19, a 24-year-old woman had filed a complaint against the accused, Neeraj Bhati, when he allegedly came to her new residence in a Dadri-based village and thrashed her following an argument over the abortion of their child.
Anita Chauhan, SHO of Ecotech 3 police station said, “She was immediately taken for a medical examination as she had received some injuries during the clash with the accused.”
