Jean-Paul Drai, Renault's product development director for electric vehicles, will be part of an Automotive News Europe Congress panel discussion, Challenges in Electrification. It will be available via webcast on Thursday, July 23 at 14:00 CEST.
Renault has been a pioneer in electric vehicles with the Zoe, which has been a top-selling EV in Europe since its launch in late 2012. Now Renault is preparing for its next generation of EVs with the CMF-EV platform developed with alliance partner Nissan.
Drai, a 24-year veteran of Renault, is leading the platform project, which will underpin Renault and Nissan models starting in 2022.
Drai, who started in his current role in 2017, has worked as a managing engineer on some of Renault’s most important projects, including the Renault Twingo/Smart ForFour with Daimler.
