Cruise shows often travel around the world and bring inspiration to the fore. In a pandemic-riddled reality, that very essence of wanderlust has been quashed. As we transcend virtually through our screens and not passports, Dior takes us to Puglia, Italy, for Cruise 2021. Despite the challenges of travel and social distancing, artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri and chairman and CEO of Christian Dior, Pietro Beccari decided to carry on with a physical show sans audience with an aim to honouring their commitment to the artisans of Puglia.
