The government said on Tuesday that it has increased the instructions issued for IT and BPO companies to work from home. Let us tell you that the period of working from home was ending on 31 July.
New Delhi: Because of Coronavirus infection, the Central Government has issued new instructions for those working in the IT and BPO sector. Because of the increasing cases of Corona, the Central Government has extended the time limit for work from home. The government said on Tuesday that it has extended the instructions issued for working from home for IT and BPO companies till December 31. Let us tell you that the period of working from home was ending on 31 July.
DoT has further extended the relaxations in the Terms and Conditions for Other Service Providers (OSPs) upto 31st December 2020 to facilitate work from home in view of the on going concern due to #COVID19.

In a tweet late night, the DoT said, "Because of the concern prevailing due to Kovid-19, DoT has extended the relaxation in terms and conditions for service providers to 31 December 2020 for the convenience of working from home." Currently, about 85 percent of the employees of IT companies are working from home and only the most important employees are going to the office.
Coronavirus cases in India have crossed 11.55 lakhs till Tuesday, while 28,084 people have died.
