Lucknow: Nurse faints on duty, not admitted in hospital

LUCKNOW: A video allegedly shot on the King George’s Medical University campus claiming that a nurse fainted on duty was not being admitted by doctors at the Trauma Centre went viral on Tuesday and caused ripples for some time.
KGMU authorities, however, responded promptly and refuted the allegations.
KGMU spokesperson Dr Sudhir Singh said the university gives top priority to its staff. “No such complaint as shown in the video was received. We will still probe and action will be taken, if any substance is found in the allegations,” he said.
The video shows two girls wearing lab coats, one of whom is lying in the lap of another who is heard claiming that the trauma centre is not admitting KGMU’s own staff.
