Odisha: A rare species of yellow-colored turtle found in Balasore

Odisha beach is famous worldwide for the habitat and breeding of turtles. It is common to find turtles of different species here, but on Sunday an extremely rare species of turtle was found in Balasore.

Its color is completely different from the normal turtle. This beautiful and rare yellow turtle was found in Sujanpur village of Balasore in Odisha. Forest department officials gave this information on Monday.

Basudev Mahapatra, a resident of Sujanpur, got this turtle while he was working in his field. Later he handed over the turtle to the forest department. According to officials, it could possibly be albino. Another such turtle was found in Sindh a few years ago. Turtle's eye color is pink.
