5 new products Samsung expected to launch on August 5
Samsung is holding its major online event of 2020 on August 5. Rumours and speculation has been rife about what the South Korean tech giant will unveil. Laying those rumours to rest, TM Roh, president and head of mobile communications business, Samsung Electronics, has revealed that the company will launch five new products at its Unpacked event.
“At this summer’s Galaxy Unpacked, we’ll be introducing five new power devices. These devices deliver on our vision to be the innovator of new mobile experiences that flow seamlessly and continuously wherever we go,” said Roh in a post on Samsung’s website.
Roh, however, didn’t reveal what exactly are these products but it is expected that Samsung will unveil these five products at the Unpacked event on August 5.
Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones
It is expected that Samsung will showcase the new Galaxy Note 20 series of smartphones. Rumour has it that there are three smartphones in the series that will see the light of the day. These three includes, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Note 20 Plus and Note 20.
Galaxy Fold 2
The next foldable device from Samsung is expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The company earlier this week took to Twitter to confirm the launch of the next-generation foldable smartphone. Samsung shared a small video with the butterfly logo of Galaxy Fold and wrote "A new look unfolds" followed by the date.
Galaxy Buds Live
Samsung’s latest AirPods rival is expected to be the Galaxy Buds Live. The earbuds, as per rumours, are bean-shaped and will feature active noise cancellation.
Galaxy Watch 3
The latest smartwatch from the house of Samsung could very well be the Galaxy Watch 3. The rotating bezel is set to be on the Galaxy Watch 3 and could come in 41mm and 43mm variants.
Galaxy Tab S7
Samsung could unveil the next-generation Tab S7, its most powerful tablet on August 5 at the event.
