A wild moment was filmed at the Safari North Wildlife Park in Brainerd, Minnesota, on Saturday, when a mother and son jumped into an alligator pit to retrieve her wallet.
Video of the shocking scene showed the young boy running around the pit as other children watch and tell him to stay away from the dangerous reptiles.
As he continues running around, his mom can be seen trying to distract the alligators so that she can retrieve the pink clutch purse.

She grabs rocks and sticks and throws them at the small reptiles, trying to get them to swim away in the pond.
Kids in the background can be heard screaming for the pair as they continue trying to get the wallet.
Eventually, the daring mom is able to pull the pink wallet out of the water and the clip comes to a close as links back up with her son.
Neither the mother or the son appeared to have on masks.

Zoo officials were not thrilled by the brave stunt, sources explained to TMZ.
Employees were completely unaware of the incident and only learned of it after hearing of the video.
They now wish to press charges against the woman for child endangerment, if they are able to identify her.
Safari North does have fences and signs that are placed to keep both the animals and the visitors safe.
