UPSC postpones IES exam 2020
Earlier, UPSC had scheduled to conduct IES exams on October 16 to 18, but has now been postponed. The notification on the IES exam will be released on August 11, 2020.

NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the Indian Economic Service Examination, 2020, on a specific request by the Department of Economic Affairs.
Earlier, UPSC had scheduled to conduct IES exams from October 16 to 18, but has now been postponed. The notification on the IES exam will be released on August 11, 2020.
An official notification issued on the Commission’s website in this regard reads that “On a specific request by the Department of Economic Affairs, the Commission has reconsidered its earlier decision and has now decided to hold the Indian Economic Service Examination, 2020 on 16th to 18th October, 2020. The Notification of the examination is likely to be issued on 11/08/2020.”
Candidates are advised to visit the official website of UPSC — upsc.gov.in — regularly to get latest updates on the IES exam 2020.
