Ionity CEO Michael Hajesch will be part of an Automotive News Europe Congress panel discussion, Challenges in Electrification. It will be available via webcast on Thursday, July 23 at 14:00 CEST.
Ionity is a joint venture formed by BMW Group, Daimler, Ford Motor and Volkswagen Group that is working to bring a network of 400 high-power EV charging stations to European highways.
The 350-kilowatt stations will allow electric vehicles to be charged with 100 km of range in as little time as 8 minutes, depending on vehicle architecture.
Ionity says the electricity will be sustainably generated, decreasing the network’s carbon footprint.
