
Punjab Board PSEB 12th Result 2020 LIVE Updates: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will announce the result the result of class 12 exam on Tuesday, July 21. The result will be available at the website- pseb.ac.in at 11 am.
Around 2.9 lakh students appeared in the class 12 exam this year which was postponed midway due to the steep rise in the coronavirus cases across the country. The pending papers was scheduled to be held in July but was cancelled. For the cancelled papers, the evaluation will be done on the basis of the exams conducted already. The students will get the marks on the basis the performance on their best three subjects.
The Punjab Board has also changed the passing criteria, students have to secure now at least 20 per cent marks in practical and 33 per cent in theory section to get pass .

To check PSEB senior secondary examination result at pseb.ac.in, click on the download ‘result link’. Enter registration number, roll number. The results will appear on the screen. Download it, and take a print out for further reference.
To pass the exams, students need to obtain 33 per cent marks. In subjects having both practical and theory, students will have to pass both separately. While the aggregate pass percentage of every subject should be 33 per cent, for practical section, those obtaining 20 per cent marks and 33 per cent for theory will also be deemed pass.
Punjab Board had decided to incorporate multiple choice questions (MCQs) of 10 marks (one mark each) in physics, mathematics and chemistry for class 12 students. Further, 10 objective-type questions were added for one mark each. These changes were announced only three months ahead of the board exams.

The print out will act as a provisional mark sheet. The original mark sheet will be disbursed by schools. Since the schools are closed this might take a while. Class 12 mark sheets are critical to get admission to colleges.
The Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) has promoted class 5, 8, and 10 students without completing the examinations. The result was declared in May. For students who have been promoted without conducting exams, the mark sheets will have “promoted due to coronavirus” written on them.
The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) or Haryana Board, Bhiwani will announce the result of class 12 exam on Tuesday, July 21. The BSEH chairman Jagbir Singh told indianexpress.com, “The result will be announced via press conference today at around 5 pm. The result will be available at the website-bseh.org.in soon after that.” A total of 2.25 lakh students appeared in the examination which could not be completed due to coronavirus pandemic
Over 6 lakh students had appeared for PSEB class 12 exams in the previous year with the state recording 86.41 passing percent.
