
RBSE BSER Rajasthan Board 12th Arts Result 2020 HIGHLIGHT: The Rajasthan Board Secondary Education (RBSE), Ajmer declared the state class 12 results for the Arts stream today. Students can check their results at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajresults.nic.in.
A total 5.26 lakh (5,26,726) students cleared the class 12 Arts stream exam successfully recording a pass percentage of 90.70 per cent. The pass percentage has improved as compared to the previous term’s 88.
Girls have performed better than the boys and secured 93.10 passing percent. The passing percentage of male candidates was recorded at 88.45 per cent. A total of 21,681 students got compartment this year.
To clear the exams, students need to obtain at least 33 per cent marks in each subject. For subjects having different theoretical and practical aspects, students will have to clear both the exams separately.
The RBSE senior secondary exams were initially scheduled to be held in March but it was postponed midway due to Covid-19 outbreak. The pending exams were then conducted in June under proper social distancing guidelines.
The dates of supplementary exams are not yet announced, but the board has stated candidates who could not appear for the pending exams will be given a chance to re-appear while the compartmental exams are held.
Despite the huge hike in the pass percentage, arts still remained the worst performer among the three streams. In the RBSE class 12 science stream 91.66 per cent students passed while in commerce, 94.49 per cent students cleared the exam. This year, commerce has become the best performer among districts.

Significantly more students have passed the Rajsthan Board 12th Arts result this year as compared to last year. While the overall pass percentage is at 90.70 per cent - a jump of over 2.7 per cent from 88 per cent in 2019. It is still to cross 2018's pass percentage of 94.65 per cent which was by far the highest in recent years.
A total of 21,681 students got compartment this year. The pass percentage touched 90.70 per cent this year. The dates of the compartment exams will be announced later
The board has not released merit list this year. The merit list of Science and Commerce streams were also not released

In case a student fails in one or two subjects, they are eligible for supplementary or compartment exams. The board had conducted the supplementary examination between July to August last year. The dates of these exams are expected to be announced after the result declaration. The result for supplementary exams is declared by September usually which also is expected to be delayed further as the entire academic cycle has been shifted this year. In case a student fails in all exams, s/he will be declared failed.
Once declared, the students can check the results through the websites — rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in, rajresults.nic.in. The students will get their marksheets once schools get opened, meanwhile, they can download the provisional marksheet from the websites

Rajasthan Board is among the few education boards in India which have released the result after conducting all the exams. While the Rajasthan Board had to stop conducting exams due to the coronavirus, it decided to hold the pending exams again in June. The pending exams concluded on June 30 and within a week, the result is being declared. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had instructed the state Education Department to make proper arrangements for conducting exams and evaluating answer scripts for the timely result declaration

Unlike other boards, results for RBSE class 12 will be declaring the result on the basis of class 12 board exams. All the exams were held by the board despite the coronavirus lockdown. Some of the exams which were cancelled earlier were held in June. Now, students who would have at least 30 percent marks would clear the exam. For RBSE pass percentage has been above 90+ over the years, that is, most of the students clear the exams.
Students can also check result via SMS. For Arts students, the result can be availed by typing RESULT<space>RAJ12A<space>Roll number and sending it to 56263
