Sonu Sood to rescue Indians stranded in Kyrgyzstan

The 21-day nation-wide lockdown in India saw the emergence of a real-life superhero, Sonu Sood, who launched large-scale rescue missions to help migrant labourers stranded in big cities, reach their homes. On July 13, Sood took to Twitter to announce that ‘his next mission’ will be helping 4,000 students stuck in Kyrgyzstan.

Living up to his promise, Sood, today, sent out a tweet announcing that ‘it’s time to come home’ for the students of Kyrgyzstan. “We are operating the first charter Bishkek -Varanasi on 22nd July. The details of which will be sent to your email id and mobile phones in a while,” wrote Sood in his tweet.

The ‘Dabangg’ actor also announced that charters for other states will fly this week. Twitterati couldn’t help but laud Sood for successfully accomplishing another incredible feat and helping out the needy.

‘Hats off to Sonu sir,’ wrote one of the Twitter users.
Another netizen compared Sood to ‘Superman’, saying that even Superman would think twice before taking flight in these times. ‘Your gesture will be remembered forever,’ read the tweet.

Some Twitterati called Sood’s gesture ‘commendable’.
‘We saw you as villian in reel but you're the real hero in real,’ wrote another Twitter user.
One of the Twitter users compared Sood to late Sushma Swaraj who worked day and night to rescue the Indians stuck in difficult situations.
Actor-turned-saviour Sood had announced on his Twitter on July 13 that he will be helping 4,000 students stranded in Kyrgyzstan return home.

In a tweet posted on his official handle, saviour Sood - as he's being referred to - said, "Homecoming time..let’s bring you all back. Just pray and it will happen soon, God willingly. My next mission."
On July 15, Sood sent out another tweet clarifying that his team is not charging or collecting any money for managing this.
