The number of people who have died from coronavirus across the UK stands at 45,300.
The UK Government confirmed 27 more people died in hospitals, care homes, and the wider community after testing positive for the virus on Sunday - up from 45,273 the day before.
Separate figures published by the UK's statistics agencies show there have now been 55,700 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
The Government also said there had been a further 726 lab-confirmed cases. Overall, a total of 294,792 cases have been confirmed in the UK.
The Department for Health and Social Care said on Friday it was "pausing" publication of daily death figures for the whole of the UK after Health Secretary Matt Hancock ordered a review into claims by researchers that there were "statistical flaws" in the way they are calculated.
