Footy heading back to Tasmania in next fixture block
The AFL will be heading back to Tasmania in the coming weeks, with North Melbourne set to host at least one game there in the next block of games.
Sources at the AFL have confirmed that there is likely to be at least one game in Hobart over the period of rounds nine-12, which will be announced on Tuesday.

Both North Melbourne and Hawthorn are contracted to play home games there in 2020, but Hawthorn's games – if they are played – will be delayed until later in the season as they next travel to Western Australia with Carlton for a block of games.
It remains unclear who North will host in Hobart, but club sources believe either of the Queensland teams would be a leading contender, as it helps with quarantine protocols if they haven't been in Victoria.
North Melbourne are yet to play either Brisbane or Gold Coast.
